Adopting big data solutions increasingly obligates the decision maker to follow the recommendations. This obligation to follow a recommendation obviates the role of the decision maker. It is only fair that we eliminate the responsibility of accountability from such as role. This leaves us with automated decision making without accountability. We need to believe that this lack of accountability will not impact peaceful consent to being affected by such decisions.
